Songs Walter likes…

Here’s some songs Walter likes.  I’ve noticed anything with repetition immediately catches his attention of course.  These are songs that come to mind and will always make me think of the little dude:

Foo Fighters – These Days

Great song and I love the defiance and resoluteness of the lyrics.  I like him singing this song it’s kind of a rally cry.

The Beatles – Yellow Submarine

He laughed when this song got to the middle section and the pipes and sound affects start.  He was also impressed that I not only knew the song lyrics but the random yelling as well, in full accent.

CCR – Run Through The Jungle

He liked John Fogerty’s voice.  Sounds “growly.”  He’s right.

Rolling Stones – You Can’t Always Get What You Want.

Great song, great message plus he has a lovely singing voice.

More to come I’m sure. Abide.

  1. Walter has AWESOME taste in music! He is a fantabulous kid, you know? You’re so lucky to have such an incredible guy in your life!

I know that. He’s really great. If he gets some confidence he’s going to be unstoppable. I thank who ever everyday that he’s not in to Kidz Bop! 🙂

  2. I’m Taking A Nap —-you took the words right out of my mouth (hand typing?)!!!
You may think this odd but I had not listened to Foo FIghters intentionally before I gave the above a listen — I had heard of them, they put out some decent music — no Ryan Montbleau Band, of course – but I liked them as well as Walter’s taste in classic music!

Dude – I’m mighty proud of ya! I look forward to receiving updates to your blog 🙂

Cindy they have an acoustic album that is great. Also thye put out a double album that had one side acoustic that was awesome as well. They rock hard but it’s not all head banging. Some is Springstein-ish and they have other influences as well. DL Spotify and check them out. Love ’em.
